I graduated in Neuroscience at the University of Trieste presenting a thesis on the underlying mechanisms of Autism Spectrum Disorder and potential therapeutic treatments, with data obtained during my internship at the University of Siena. During my PhD I will focus on the development of an NVU model using Organs-on-a-Chip technology and carbon-based materials to investigate their potential involvment in the restoration of impaired neurovascular communication.
