NeurophysiologyUrb
Stefano Sartini
Assistant Professor
I am a Researcher in the Department of Biomolecular Sciences at University of Urbino. I graduated in Biological Sciences at the University of Urbino. I was trained in electrophysiology, myography and cell cultures at the Section of Physiology of the DiSTeVa Department. My research focused on structural plasticity of motor innervation (nerve regeneration, sprouting, synaptogenesis, synapse elimination) following nerve injury, motor neuron-muscle cross‐talk, with particular interest to influence of muscle activity to muscle neurotrophin expression and structural and functional differentiation of neuronal networks (cell culture models). I am currently a teacher of the Department's Physiology, Animal Physiology and Clinical Exercise Physiology courses.
